With all the innovations in the larger church catholic, it is important to remember the failure of church leaders to retain the faith as once delivered to the Saints will not excuse you.  You can go to hell with the blessing of the church.  Today the modern man made church has embraced the heresy of Universal Salvation, interfaith syncretism and other concessions to the world, the flesh and the devil.  The man made church has become ‘man centered’ instead of God centered.  Many in the larger church believe hell is not permanent, preaching it is inconsistent with the logic of the Gospel to hold hell is forever.  They have discounted the truth of the Scriptures, Sacred Tradition and the teaching of the Patristic Fathers.  They now teach as dogma what is only human precepts.  Some preach approval of divorce and remarriage, even admitting those in ‘irregular’ unions (those living in adultery and fornication) to the Eucharistic table.  If you follow these heretical teachers, you will go to hell with the blessing of the church.  In their effrontery to God they are so bold as to teach even an Atheist, if he is a ‘good’ person, will go to heaven without accepting Christ and without even embracing faith in God.  The Scriptures are quite clear our personal righteousness is as a filthy menstrual rag in the sight of God (Isaiah 64:6).  God’s plan revealed in the Word of God is clear, our righteousness must be the righteousness of Jesus Christ.   In their effort to be liked and accepted they embrace Muslims and other pagans as our brothers and sisters.  They claim a Muslim will go to heaven if he is a good Muslim.  The Hindu or Buddhist will go to heaven if they are a good Hindu or Buddhist.  The pagans are told they do not have to accept Jesus Christ in order to enter Heaven.  These pagans will soon learn Jesus is Lord and without Jesus there is no hope for a seat in the Celestial Kingdom.  The truth is there is no way to the Father save through Christ.  There is no other name under heaven by which a man can be saved.  Read what the church Fathers say.

The Path to Hell is paved with the Skulls of Clergy:

“The road to Hell is paved with the bones of priests and monks, and the skulls of bishops are the lamp posts that light the path.”  - or - “The road to hell is paved with the skulls of erring priests, with bishops as their signposts.” - St. John Chrysostom attributed.

“I do not think there are many among Bishops that will be saved, but many more that perish.”

St. John Chrysostom, Extract from St. John Chrysostom, Homily III on Acts 1:12.

“The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops.”

St. Athanasius, Council of Nicaea, AD 325 attributed.

“The road to hell is paved with the skulls of bishops.”

Saint John Eudes, attributed.

“It must be observed, however, that if the faith were endangered, a subject ought to rebuke his prelate even publicly.”

St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica II, II, q. 33, a. 4

“Augustine says in his Rule: ‘Show mercy not only to yourselves, but also to him who, being in the higher position among you, is therefore in greater danger.’ But fraternal correction is a work of mercy. Therefore even prelates ought to be corrected.”

St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica II, II, q. 33, a. 4, Sed Contra.

“It is better that scandals arise than the truth be suppressed.”

Pope St. Gregory the Great

“But, when necessity compels, not those only who are invested with power of rule are bound to safeguard the integrity of faith, but, as St. Thomas maintains: ‘Each one is under obligation to show forth his faith, either to instruct and encourage others of the faithful, or to repel the attacks of unbelievers.’”

Pope Leo XIII
